High Speed rail arrives in Maidstone!
New 47 minute services to London have been announced by Southeastern and will be available from 23 May 2011. High Speed rail services will initially run from Maidstone West to London St Pancras as part of a trial which will be reviewed in December 2011.
The peak services will consist of three departures from Maidstone West in the morning and three return journeys. Outbound services are scheduled to take 47 minutes; inbound services up to 51 minutes.

London St Pancras departures: 17:14 17:44 18:14
The new services will call at Strood, Gravesend, Stratford International and St Pancras International.
Note: At other times of the day Medway Valley services continue to connect with High Speed 1 at Strood.
