Green Shoots of Recovery?
03 September 2010
The new owner of Springfield Square in Maidstone has revealed plans to begin the construction of two new ‘grade A’ office buildings in the Spring of 2011. The development will form the next phase of a major mixed use office campus situated between the town centre and junction 6 of the M20.
Jeremy Philp, managing director of Dunsfold Developments, comments:
“Nationally, demand for offices is currently at a low ebb but this is a cyclical business and very location sensitive. When demand begins to recover, we believe in 2012, Springfield will be ready with a landmark development comprising excellent, grade one, office space in one of the most accessible and convenient locations in this part of the United Kingdom. Construction will begin in the early part of 2011.
