Building work is well under way on a state of the art Library and History Centre in Maidstone. The £10m project by Kent County Council
is the first of its kind in Kent and will ensure that Maidstone and Kent residents will benefit from better access to the County’s rich culture and heritage. The building is due to be open in summer 2012 at James Whatman Way. To find out more an event being held at the Centre for Kentish Studies on Monday 20 December 2010, contact 01622 694363.
