Kent Conference Bureau is the organisation charged
with promoting the county as a first class destination for
conferences, incentives, and events. It is run by Maidstone Borough
Council and was set up initially set up in 1997 to promote the
Borough of Maidstone and the surrounding area as a destination for
conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and corporate events. The
bureau has developed county wide into a public/private partnership
with support from the councils of Medway, the Heart of Kent
Consortium, Kent Tourism and local conference providers, and
represents over 70 venues and services providers throughout the
county.

businesses, as well as exploring the potential for inward
